Wearing one of my favorite finds of the summer, Mareld, a lovely salty fig and violet aquatic, to officially say goodbye to the hot temps! As someone who grew up in the American South (read: HOT 🥵), I will never not appreciate living somewhere with 4 beautiful, distinct seasons.

The Lake & Skye body spray was a happy accident. It was on sale and I was trying to hit a free shipping $ on Anthropologie a couple months ago, and it had fig in the name, so into the cart it went. It smells VERY similar, just lighter ofc, to Mareld, and makes for a great layering combo.

    I've seen a few posts about Björk & Berries lately; their scents look so interesting but wearable

      It’s a fun house! I did a sample pack from them a few months ago and was impressed; this fragrance Mareld was the winner for me but I was happy wearing all of them. Interesting note combos, and they tended to be on the more subtle side (which I prefer), and overall felt very “Scandinavian chique,” which I guess is kind of what they’re going for.

    I liked Mareld a lot! Also enjoyed Fjallsjo, Synchrony, Never Spring from the sample set. Actually I liked all of them.

      Never Spring and Violet Sky were probably my next two favs! I’m waiting to try White Forest again in the winter. A couple others that I haven’t gotten to try yet that weren’t in the sample set but overall really enjoyed sampling the house.
