Dancing in Amber

Tango needs no time to settle - it immediately oozes an intoxicatingly rich, bright-red amber, radiating warmth, passion and lust. In harmony with the resinous amber, a cumin note provides a sensual, human warmth. It’s not dirty or sweaty, but evokes the musk of bodies entwined in a dance.

As the room heats up and desire builds, warm spices and benzoin subtly sweeten the air, while a lush jasmine note brings an unmistakable sultriness. The rose soon follows, adding a softer, more floral dimension that really distinguishes Tango from the sea of ambers out there.

As the heartbeats slow and their skin cools, the scent settles into a warm, earthy amber base, where hints of supple leather create depth, whilst a touch of vanilla smooths out the spices. The result is softer and quieter than the opening, but still retains plenty of warmth and sensuality.

I really love this. It’s almost as if the fragrance is doing a tango with itself - an alluring dance between sweet & spicy, dry & jammy, masculine & feminine. All these contrasts come together to create something that feels entirely unisex.
