White Chocolate Matcha Frap Infused with Sweet Citrus and Fruit

I love this combo🧡I'm a gourmand fiend, so, sweet is often what I'm looking for...but I LOVE me a complex fragrance and throughly enjoy bitterness, sourness, aromatics, etc. in my sweet (in fact, I prefer for my smells to have counterbalancing molecules adding to their scent journies, and I am always interested in sampling challenging scents as well).

Boy, does this layering deliver on that sweet counterbalance front: the matcha in MC is joined by the maté in FT, and the white chocolate+toasted pistachio in MC blanket the fruit and flowers in FT, overpowering them in currents of sweet nuttiness that further enhances the matcha with its barley-adjacent lean (at least to my nose).

These two tea fragrances compliment each other, and I'm so pleased to have them both in my collection! Thanks so much to @freeday for inspiring this scent combo!!

(A note: I have the "Mystery Oopsie" version of MC that is now sold out; it is apparently more heavily-inspired by ceremonial matcha and has an, according to the website, "earthier, grassy scent perfect for those who want more bitterness and tannins in a tea-scented perfume." Additionally, "the toasted pistachio note is nuttier, adding a hojicha-like quality to the fragrance."

I majored in Japanese for 3 years in uni before an illness took me out for a quarter and I just changed my major to English so I could finish in under 5 years—my love of matcha came from this experience❤️)
