This opens up quite strong. Very earthy, grassy, dry and bitter. Somewhat vegetal. Smells exactly like pure matcha without any creaminess that you would expect in a matcha latte or matcha ice cream. The name wasn’t accurate to what it smells like it my opinion. As it dries down it gets progressively more creamy and how I expected. I appreciate the smell but it’s a bit too green for me. If you’re looking for a grassy matcha with no sweetness, this is for you!

    I agree with this too!! It was wayyy too grassy for me. And the name does throw me off as I have other fragrances that don’t have a sweet sounding name like soft serve that are way sweeter and less matcha forward lol. If you haven’t tried clean matcha from overose or phlur matcha milk you should!

      I love Phlur’s Matcha MIlk! The notes in the Overose one sound really good! I’m getting a sample of Match Made in Heaven by Sorce and hoping it smells more like a matcha ice cream.
