I wasn’t really impressed by the first spray as it’s somewhat medicinal and has a somewhat synthetic feel to it. After about two hours it settles down a bit and the saffron starts to come through in a more natural way, although there’s still a slight synthetic edge to it. It’s also super linear lacking any depth and doesn’t really change much on my skin, with pretty much the same texture throughout the whole wear.

I want to like it for the take on saffron but it's just an unimpressive fragrance and the price point is entirely out of touch too

    The extrait version is fantastic and really phenomenal for layering with other fragrances.

      Is the extrait smoother and less synthetic? Might be no harm to test a sample!

      I would say it's pretty synthetic. Maybe try Fugazzi Angel Dust?

      Appreciate the reply, my nose has an aversion to even a hint of synthetics so I might pass. Haven't tried the angel dust yet but keep seeing it on here

    I haven't smelled the EDP, but the extrait is certainly aggressive.
