They use an enormous amount of Ambroxan (or the fixative ambrofix or the like) and I’m sensitive to it when it’s at a specific concentration—It becomes ALL I can smell, the aromachemical bullying the other notes and my olfactory receptors into hiding. I came for the iris and fled into witness protection.

I’m the same and it’s sad. Milk Orchid should have all the notes I love but I can only smell Ambroxan.

Yea same feeling with encense suave, is not bad on itself, but that ambrox kills the entire thing making it feel atomically chemical

...cause I'm sick and all. I actually don't think I can smell this (ear infection) so it's probably a waste of perfume. Damn. Should have put something super strong on 🤣

Testing the edp and the extrait version, both on my skin and on my husband's skin. I'm low-key jealous of how smooth sandalwood smells on his skin, absolutely amazing. He prefers the Santal Austral
