Contrasting and dynamic

This is the 3rd Rogue I’ve tried and like the other two I’m impressed. This is herbal/bitter with lavender and galbanum. It’s classified as an oriental fougere on one fragrance website. It reminds me of Maai (dark, floral, animalic chypre beast) but brighter. Maybe it’s the animalics used (much tamer than Maai) or something else. Not sure. The lavenders used are really beautiful and quite cooling. Like Gardoni’s other perfumes this is big, complex and always changing. Dark but light, cool but warm, beastly but tame. Glad I got to try this one.
