Strange

I can’t decide what this is trying to do. It’s musky but barely. It’s sweet, but only just. It’s woody, but the woods slip under the strange musk. Milky? Not even a little bit. On skin, this splays out into something vaguely nice, vaguely comforting. But it also has a strange sourness to it around the edges. Ahh…sour milk maybe.

I joke. It doesn’t smell like sour milk but it has a sour contour to it that is hard to place. Not directly unpleasant. Just strange and slightly discordant.

But as a room spray? That’s where I can begin to appreciate the smell more. I think I need some distance from this mish-mash of notes before I can begin to get the shape of the thing.

If you love laconic scents don’t be fooled. This isn’t one of them. If you enjoy musks, skip it. I’m pained to think of who would really be wowed here.
