Back to it then! First impressions: This opens with a burst of a fresh mandarin that you’re about to peel and eat; zesty, citrus skin and fresh, juicy, fleshy sweet mandarin segments. As it starts to settle and the M01 comes through it becomes a beautiful and elegantly soft and velvety floral mandarin. And then it is juicy, zesty mandarin again, and then soft floral, velvety mandarin. Alternating every few minutes between the two. Very nice indeed. Let’s see how the day goes.

    I keep hearing a lot about Escentric Molecules. How does it smell?

      This was is lovely, pretty linear though floating between juicy mandating and swift floral amber mandarin for a few hours. Only got around 4hrs out of it though.

      Not with this one really. I get the sweet ambery floral but it’s so parallel with the floral notes of mandarin that it’s not distinct to my nose.

    Are you gonna layer these together or try them out with everything? Or are these more standalone? I’m not suuuper familiar with the Molecule scents other than knowing a lot of people layer them lol

      I’m not a layering person really. So it’s unlikely that I will. I wear M01 OG on its own. The thing I enjoy is ‘getting to the bottom’ of scents, so sitting with them and feeling how the notes evolve etc. But most of the plus line are solinotes (other than the Champaca one) so they would make great options for those that enjoy layering.
