Fruity fairy tale

I wanted to try Tiziana Terenzi perfumes for some time, but managed to get ahold of a sample only recently. To be honest, mostly because a lot of the descriptions didn't sound very encouraging to my tastes. But Moro di Venezia came with a lot of promise and I'm glad to say that it indeed delivered.

The scent opens up with sparkly fruity goodness, gets a bit powdery and cloyingly floral sweet on the drydown, without losing the fresh fruity aspect. I like summery fragrances, and this is indeed one of the best summer smells I've ever tried. Fruits and berries ripened with sunshine, jovial flowers blooming all throughout - it all feels like a summer fairy tale. The scent is so perfect that it doesn't feel realistic, more like a description from a book or a nostalgic memory.

The staying power is not the best, but this one doesn't have to be really strong. It sort of matches the description of a fleeting Mediterranean season. I'm not sure whether it's a keeper for me, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fruity fresh summer scent. It's a really well done scent, a whole experience is something one must try for themselves.
