Moth, you beautiful freak, I'm obsessed with you.
It starts out spicy and camphorous in a way that clears my sinuses and goes straight to my brain. In like, an almost unpleasant but addictive way. Then come the sickly sweet honeyed florals. The dry down is resinous, powdery, dusty. Sooo dusty.
It's weird, but somehow comforting and familiar. Like something I wouldn't expect someone to smell like intentionally, but that's just how their house smells (and I like it). The first time I sampled it, I caught myself sniffing my wrist and whispering "I love Moth" to myself more than once, like a total weirdo. But that's fine because only weirdos are allowed to wear Moth, I don't make the rules.
When I wear this, I imagine I'm trespassing in an abandoned manor and I come across a closet filled with long, fancy dresses. They are covered in dust and have been eaten to tatters by moths. They smell like mothballs and the perfume of some long-dead woman who used to wear them (whose spirit may still inhabit them). Hauntingly beautiful.
