Pistachio, Néroli and a Whisper of the Middle East

The pistachio opening in Néroli Hasbaya by Atelier Materi is quite simply the most beautiful I've encountered. It's rich and immediately captivating, but what makes this fragrance special is how slowly and effortlessly the pistachio transitions into a beautiful combination of pistachio and neroli. Neither seems to fight for attention, they simply melt into one another.

There is something incredibly comforting about this fragrance. It has an air of the Middle East running quietly through it, yet it's so beautifully balanced. You sense it's there but you can't quite put your finger on what note is creating that impression.

Néroli Hasbaya is also effortlessly unisex. It doesn't feel particularly masculine or feminine, it simply smells sophisticated, distinctive and beautifully put together.

For me, this is one of those fragrances that doesn't need to shout to have a presence. It's unusual, comforting and memorable, and one I genuinely love wearing.
