This took Jo Malone's spot when I tried it

So for a while I'd been a big fan of Jo Malone's Orange Blossom regarding Orange Blossom-forward perfumes, but when I first tried this it was clear that I was smelling a more well-blended mix.

This is obviously comparable to the mentioned perfume by Jo Malone, I think in the same DNA there's also Histoire d'Oranger by L'artisan Parfumeurs and maybe Orange Blossom by Penhaligon but those 2 I have not smelled personally.

The backbone of this perfume is of course a very bright realistic white floral that gives a natural vibe, not a soapy vibe, more like standing beneath an orange tree in bloom and not so much like a classy soap.

As I said, this paints a picture of standing beneath an orange tree in bloom and having a gust of wind blow all the aroma in your face, but it's also the gust itself got a slight salty freshness to it, like maybe you're not by the shore but significantly near a shore, there's hints of citrus in it too as if you're drinking an citrus infusion, not a juice or a soda, it's something much more mild, like taking the leaves of the tree and orange peel and infusing it in water, adding little to no sugar, this all happening in an early spring morning.

The perceived notes are Orange Blossom > neroli > citrusy notes > earthy notes > musky notes

For me this fits any sunny day during spring and summer, for any casual occasion, like running errands, a casual meetup, work, whatever and it's very unisex IMO.

For me this is a perfect layering scent, the most balanced orange blossom rendition in terms of how realistic it feels vs how "perfume-y" it feels, because of that, I give this a 6.5/10, it's not groundbreaking in complexity but it's incredibly well done and I repeat, perfect for layering and creating an even more interesting bubble around you. I don't really enjoy it that much as a standalone perfume.
