We got more layers than an onion over here *sigh* (that really escalated!)

This is a precautionary tale of what happens when you really wanted to just wear the same as yesterday but your novelty seeking nature tells you that's too boring...

You grab an decant you love and haven't worn in a month and are eyeing as a potential full bottle (vc&a Rose Rouge) but the decant doesn't smell quite the same. It must be oxidised, or your rose olfactory sensors are dialed up and on hypersensitive mode (likely from the near constant barrage of Delina dupes that assault you on the daily), and you get wayyyy more of the rose than you have any appetite for...

So you grab your Nest Indigo roller, hoping to get some tea, fig and sweetness, but it still doesn't scratch the itch.

So you grab the Nest Black Tulip roller (which - sidenote - you actually prefer over the Indigo but it feels like you should never say such sacrilege out loud). And still, it's not quite what you're after...

SO you get the big guns and grab the fruitiest, juiciest scent in your collection to really wipe out the rose: Phlur Strawberry Letter, and while it's better and getting back to the darker fruity, jammy scent you had in mind, it's still just not doing it for you...

...So you end up giving in and just getting the Florabloom again. Which you just should have gone with in the first place.

(*let's just pour one out for my husband who is working from home with me today and likely being gassed out from what must by now be about 15 plus sprays of perfume!)
