Last minute shopping before my month in Hokkaido

This has been on my list for so long now. I have gone into Fueguia probably 10 times in the past 6 months to try this on skin. Every single time, I think it's a true masterpiece, and probably the greatest fall fragrance ever made, in my opinion. Since I'm leaving for Hokkaido tomorrow, and it's already autumn weather there, I decided now was the perfect time!

There no apple listed in this, but for me, it takes me back to going apple picking with my parents in the Hudson Valley every fall. Apple cider, leaves changing, that perfectly cool afternoon where the gusts of wind start to have a tiny bite to them. This is exactly how I remember the best part of the year, in a place that will always be home. ❤️

      It really is absolutely incredible!! It's hard to say if I think it's sweet or dry- it's really dead center and goes back and forth! The opening is a super juicy, crisp apple sort of sweetness. Not syrupy or cloying at all- super airy and refreshing. After a while, the woods really come forward, taking it in a drier direction- like walking on a path through the forest on a fall afternoon. It's unbelievably beautiful, complex, and transportative! Can't recommend it enough (if you can get your hands on it)!

      Yep! My job is sending me up to 旭川 for three next month or so. My first time going to Hokkaido 😁 I'll definitely post as often as possible!!! The hardest part of prepping has been deciding which bottles are staying at my apartment in Tokyo and which are coming with me! 😂

      That’s amazing! I’ve spent a few weeks around Hokkaido over the course of a couple trips, but always during winter/for ski season. I’ve always wanted to see the island in summer/fall! Hope it treats you well (also, new New Chitose airport is INCREDIBLE if you are flying/need some extra fragrance shopping).

      I feel really lucky having three stores within a 30 minute train ride from my apartment!! Seriously amazing house. Some of their stuff is insanely challenging, but everything feels unbelievably high quality! Definitely going to add more of them to my collection when I get back to Tokyo 😁
