Sichuan charcoal perfection

I will forever be an evangelist for this sadly discontinued tom ford masterpiece. It’s clearly inspired by the robust green powerhouses of the 80s, inspiration that has brought us other TF green beasts like Italian Cypress and Vert d’Encens, but while those go in the pine direction, this gets its green from peppers. This is a pepper lovers dream, with spicy green peppers, Sichuan pepper and black pepper, along with a convincing charcoal (“anthracite”) note that makes it smell like spicy grilled Sichuan food. I’m going to a Chinese grilled meat skewer place for dinner tonight so I had to wear this. I have about half a bottle left and use it sparingly because it’s ridiculously pricey now. Truly one of the most unique scents I’ve smelled and I will be very sad when my bottle is empty.
