Subtle and Pretty, but Forgettable 👀

The opening is muted, but it definitely lingered on my skin. The orris root is a bit chalky. and the really dry wood and ambrette seed notes remind me of hay or papyrus.

There’s not a distinct note that stands out….no fruit, flower, or resin in this that defines what this fragrance is. It’s balanced well, but it lacks presence…especially for a fragrance at this price point.

If it had a note that shined in the opening or dry down, I’d give it 4 starts, but it’s missing the mark for me.

Due to the extreme subtly, I’d say this is office-safe, and a good go-to if you are looking for something quiet and indistinct (and expensive).
