Bear with me as I get a bit flowery with my words, but this fragrance is just SO evocative that it is well and truly warranted.
I was transported to the depths of a blooming green forest, the faintly watery scents of a river nearby but just out of sight, and the air itself smelled of... not quite petrichor but something else. Petrichor is that lovely smell we get after the rain, but this is the moisture in the air right before the first drop falls. There is no water yet, but the air is practically wet with how rich the air is with the scent.
All of that encompasses the first few seconds as it dried down. Then the journey continues onward. Walking through that same forest, there's a mossy stone cave, filled with darkness and moisture. The green of the forest, the moisture in the air, the faint iodine from the water-soaked limestone; it's like I'm there, with the olms.
Maybe this is just me buying into the marketing or maybe they truly are that scent perfect, but this truly smells like I am in a dark wet stone cave where those strange and adorable little creatures make their home; and just for a few hours, I get to visit.
