Performing an Opiumectomy

I had to do surgery on my bottles to get the juice out, yielding ~50mL of 1978 Opium and ~10mL of 1998 (or 1988) EDT. I have the year of release and it is softer than these two.

If you know Opium, you know how precious this is.

The most prominent qualities I can smell in these are spices of cinnamon, clove, coriander (the spice not leaf), nutmeg, and allspice. Underneath that is a resinous myrrh and a slight bit of woody sandalwood— perhaps even Australian! Most likely Mysore and the edge comes from cedar or the spices.

A masterpiece of cinematic beauty— it does in fact NOT smell like itself however it is successful in being a big ol’ dusty dry rusty crusty spicy boy.
