This house will bankrupt me

At first the dry grass note is sharp, very jarring. But also, in a very Arrested Development dead dove moment, it’s called Pampa Seca so IDK what I was expecting.

But god when this opens up?! It’s still very green, the galbanum is doing a lot. But there’s a soft, floral undertone (notes say lavender and it’s not obvious to me) and then fresh sweetness, but with a peppery spice that balances it so well. It wears so nicely in summer heat.

I’ve smelled hay before, and I do think this is evocative of that, but it’s a cleaner sweetness. There isn’t the sort of earthy funk of hay. This is a very fresh out of a cold shower with luxury bath products scent.

This feels like a day scent, but could easily transition to evening if it were hot enough.
