I just got a fresh decant of this - my old one is 10 years old and I wanted to see if there was any change before possibly springing for a full bottle.

I’d say the suede is more prominent and it’s overall less smooth and brighter than my aged decant, which makes sense and is consistent with what I remember from my first tests a long time ago. I think this will age into the same beauty - it’s very nice now, but I do prefer the aged version. The question is how long do I want to wait for a bottle to be perfect 🤔

      The fresh is very nice too! Still hits all the same stages. But I am leaning toward a large decant. At least I know it ages well, I won’t have to worry about using it up any time soon.
