The lure of classic perfume structure

I have mostly veered away from vintagey florals or anything with a hint of chypre, but this is so gorgeous it might singlehandedly lure me back. I was looking for something moody and majestic that unfolds over time.

Hera, queen of Greek mythology, is a fitting name. It makes me think of the irresistable golden apple that enticed anyone who saw it (not that there are any notes of apple). In exchange for Paris's apple, Hera offered him power, and I imagine this her in that moment - eloquent, alluring, regal, and ultimately rejected.
