Vintage powdery

I was hoping I’d get a musky spicy skanky jasmine from this, but it mostly gives me powdery cosmetics with a hint of spice and an undercurrent of civet that I desperately wish would come forward more. I get a lot of carnation and I’m just not a fan of that, or of the powdery rose.

I really dislike the first couple hours, but then it balances out more so it’s more musk and less powder in my face, and I do like that stage more. Late dry down is dry and subtly mossy with tobacco. I think it is well done for what it is, definitely very vintage, but it smells too much like my grandma, and that’s not the vibe for me.

I tested it for a few hours before bed and it’s still pretty strong over 12 hours later, so I wouldn’t really consider that a full wear, but I know it lasts!
