Where is this quote from? And did you not want to wear this around people bc it's a "louder" scent, so to speak? So you're wearing it around others now? If that's what you meant, now I'm curious: has anyone commented/ complimented it? The notes in this look amazing, actually, I'll have to snag a sample or decant!

I don’t like to wear fragrances I am not confident about around people I don’t know well. I’ve worn Pegasus a few times - it was one of the very first niche perfumes I ever tried and opened my mind to the idea that scents didn’t have to be like everything in the department stores. But as I’ve grown in the hobby my perception of scents has changed a lot and I’ve gone through points where I love this and points where I hate this. Is it a summer scent? A winter scent? Is it a floral fougere? Or a nutty gourmand? I think it’s all of those things but because I haven’t made up my mind on how I feel about it, I prefer to keep it to something I wear in my personal time for now.

It’s also quoted by Randall in Clerks to Dante. I had a coworker who used to say it all the time when our break got cancelled or we had to hurry up for something. It stuck in my head I guess.
