Feeling Peachy 🍑

After Fleur de Pecher today, I thought I’d continue with the peach and finally get this sample on my skin to test. First spray was a blind whiff without looking at the notes and I would’ve described this as a woody & sweet peach, apricot, rose and rosewood scent that’s soft and powdery on a slightly creamy, musky base. I’m not really getting obvious jasmine, violet or tuberose notes, but there is sweetness there and the powder is makeup like, but all very muted. The peach is a little dewy and juicy, but not jammy.. but also a little dusty.

It’s very nice, I like it, it’s well blended … but just nice. And I am enjoying bringing my nose to my skin to take it in. The vanilla is bourbony but practically ghostlike. Within 10mins, it doesn’t even feel like I’ve sprayed a perfume on my skin at all. It’s like I applied a peach scented body cream the night before and I’m sniffing the remnants on my skin the next morning. It actually reminds of sniffing a Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Pallette that’s been lying in a make up drawer for 10 years.

A nice, inoffensive skin scent, but, for me, it’s all just a little dull. I doubt I will ever reach for this sample again. 5/10
