Philosykos EDP is a beautiful fig perfume with lovely natural green notes, coconut and woods. On the opening, the coconut milk and fig are prominent, along with a blast of fresh green fig leaves. The fig fruit here is ripe, lush, and creamy. It is wonderful mixed with the richness of the coconut and slightly spicy woods. This is an intoxicating scent where the fresh green notes contrast perfectly with the other richer notes, making a wonderfully balanced fragrance.
As for how the EDP and EDT compare: The EDP is a richer and creamier version of the EDT, which is a lot lighter and greener. There is no coconut in the EDT, so it has a completely different feel, giving more of a whole fig tree in a bottle experience.
The EDP has moderate projection for around 2 hours and lasts on my skin for roughly 6 hours. It is much better performing than the EDT but is still not a super long wearing perfume.
I love to wear this one on days when I want to be surrounded by quiet luxury. It has a comforting warmth, but is light enough for hotter WEATHER (though I think the EDT excels best in the hottest temperatures). The EDP would work well from spring into fall or as a unisex home or office scent any time of year. I rate this an 8.5/10.
