Fermented Chinese oolong tea

Testing a perfume I've had for about six months but haven't had the nerve to wear. I get photorealistic darkly oxidized oolong tea plus spices and dried fruit. Honey but not sweet. Mellows a lot in the dry-down.

I'm extremely particular about my tea perfumes smelling like tea, not like perfume, and this knocks that out of the park. It screams OOLONG. If you're not familiar with the smell of mature oxidized oolong tea, it might take some getting used to.

    Ooo I might have to get my nose of this. I too want my tea perfumes to smell like actual tea not someone’s interpretation of a whif of tea

    It’s my favorite oolong, but it’s an acquired taste. And I have to be in the mood for it or it can be a little overwhelming somehow.
