God this is good

Opens up with a lovely pineapple note that feels like being wrapped in a velvet cushion. It’s not too sweet like a lot of other openings and it’s perfectly well balanced so that it’s not at all screechy it’s just a warm inviting scent of spice and pineapple.

If you’ve even been to a Ralph Lauren store I think you might have smelt this a bit before there is a note there that reminds me a lot of when I used to shop in those stores on the rare occasion and felt that giddy feeling of “god these shirts are expensive I shouldn’t be here but the store smells too good to resist”

The combination of sage and pineapple is what really carries this though with a tiny pinch of smoke just a bit to add flavor but that’s it.

One of things I really like about this is how it balances sweet with the green elements in equal proportion without letting anything crowd each other out so you get this nice vibe of being in a forest with a fresh spicy pineapple drink being served to you.

Overall this is definetely a nice daily wear scent and has a refined work like edge to it whilst still remaining playful. I might have to make this my new work scent at this rate it’s really good.

The only season I’m not sure this might work in is winter. The pineapple makes this lean more of a summer scent. I think you could pull this off in fall with the spices but beyond early to mid fall I’d potentially be considering a more winter style fragrance.
