Quelques Fleurs: “Some Flowers”

This is quite the floral. 1912 was a good year for perfume, as L’Heure Bleue was released the same year by Guerlain. I will be calling *Some Flowers* QF for now on for sake of brevity and also QF sounds nice.

QF is a radiant, wet, watery, transformative, ever-changing, yet clearly composed with one agenda: Some Flowers. More than that was achieved, in fact this is one of the best “diverse” florals I’ve smelled— likely the best. This doesn’t rely on one color of flowers, it uses every shade of floral accord, predominantly Heliotrope and Lily of the Valley and a L’Air du Temps benzyl salicylate type vibe that allows it to give a non-violet leaf or galbanum evergreen note across the fragrances development. It is a melange of flowers mixed together, there is no point in discussing the phases as there are phases but the essence of this fragrance is allowing you to smell like Some Flowers all day long.
