      I'm so interested to hear why, if you wouldn't mind elaborating—they only use vegan materials, and I'm beginning to understand that I prefer fragrances that *don't* make that claim

      I find them creative and interesting as a concept. I really like Elephant (the old one, not the Sanctuary one) because it's quite unlike other green scents I've tested. There are also a few that I genuinely think are well-made and a nod to classic perfumes (Nightingale, Moth, to name two).

      Yeah…”vegan” means they have to be very synthetic actually, since harvesting flowers and animalics leads to death of insects and harm to some animals (possibly/Eris ethically sourced their animalics). Not having good quality naturals, or ones made in a greenhouse, means the soil is not as rich and it’s not going to have the same complexity in terms of how the plants themselves adapt to environments (make smells to pollinate)
