Less fresh than anticipated

Trying to decide if I want to keep the decant. I've given it 5 wears now and still can't decide. It's quite spicy; to my nose this is predominantly a cardamom and vetiver scent, spicy and woody. It actually reminds me quite a bit of Soul Batik, despite not having patchouli. There is little evolution to the scent, perhaps the spice softens over time, but not significantly. There is not much sweetness or florals to balance the spicy woodiness; I certainly can't discern any jasmine or neroli. I think more of the lemon cream, in particular, would add a lot of interest. I think this helped me work through my decision; ultimately not a keeper given the linear nature & similarity to others I already own and wear.
