Riviera Verbena - refreshing in hot weather

So I'm testing this one right now, and, while indoors, it was much tart for my liking, almost sour.

But...then, I stepped outside... and everything changed❤️

This is the first fragrance I've worn where it was painfully and quite apparently suited for warm weather! It TRANSFORMED when I stepped through the threshold of a cool, 73 degree hallway into the 100 degree weather outside (it's only 8am😭)

It smells sweeter and complex outdoors; the patchouli, rose and jasmine are more detectable on my skin in the heat for some reason! The petitgrain, lemon, spearmint, cut grass and calone do not offend whatsoever when I step out in the heat (I'd even venture to say they're very attractive in the heat).

It's new to have found a perfume that I EXCLUSIVELY want for wearing in hot weather—I've been one of those folx who kinda doesn't "get" the "some scents are better for *insert specific weather and time of day here*, but it obviously takes time to train olfactory senses to detect specific perfume qualities❤️
