Absolue Rose on the Moon

Rose on the Moon smelled almost identical to Delina on the test strip, with the sharp, tart lychee in the opening, but it is so different on my skin. It's more similar to Delina Exclusif here - warm, sugary rose, creamy sandalwood, vanilla and incense. The rose here is reminiscent of the candied rose in Turkish Delight. The tart note is nonexistent to me. It almost makes me wonder if I had a mix up, or perhaps the opening didn't register on my skin!

This is a *very* sweet scent in the opening and mid, so be warned. Just like Delina Exclusif, I don't think this is particularly wearable in the heat.

The dry down arrives around 2 hours in. It is a woody, slightly spicy rose and incense. It's fine but nothing particularly special.

This has moderately strong projection for 2-3 hours and lasts on my skin for about 8-9 hours.

Rose on the Moon is a warm and sweet incense and rose scent perfect for cooler weather and evening events. The opening is a sultry attention grabber, but it develops a more cozy and comforting feel during the dry down. Though it is pleasant, I wasn't particularly impressed with this one especially in the dry down. I give it a 6.5/10.
