Maison Crivelli Rose Saltifolia

I've wanted a bottle of this ever since finishing my tiny decant, and I've missed it for sale a couple times now. I finally managed to get my hands on a bottle a few weeks back, thanks to @artgarfunkl (great seller, BTW!). So here we are 😁

Rose Saltifolia, as the name suggests, is a marine rose perfume. The saltiness in this one is very strong, and that's what I love about it! It smells like a morning walk on the beach (salty ocean air, sand, and water) mixed with the light scent of pink roses. The roses here are quite light - almost like rosewater. It is so pretty and invigorating. It has an icy cooling effect, making it even better for hot weather, and is fairly linear, but I enjoy it so much that I don't mind. It definitely does have that marine tang from the seaweed so if you aren't a fan of that, this one may not be for you, though I don't find it harsh or stinky in any way. It is definitely a marine perfume through and through.

Projection is middling - 4 or 5 sprays gets me a moderate scent cloud that lasts for 2-3 hours. Longevity is not the best, with it dying down to almost nothing after about 6 hours after spraying. Though to be fair I always wear this on hot, humid days.

This is a refreshing and clean rose scent for marine perfume lovers, with a realistic, complete seaside experience. It is light enough that it shouldn't bother anyone in an office setting, and would work wonderfully for daytime activities, especially in the heat. A very nice one that I'm glad to have in my collection, though I do wish it lasted just a bit longer. 8/10
