The amount of any individual essential oil in a perfume is tiny - I actually asked my vet about this and she said as long as you're not spraying it on your cats or letting them lick where you sprayed it, you're okay.

I only spray in one room, open the window, and always have an air purifier running all over the house just to be safe! I have a 16 year old cat with asthma though, so I get especially nervous.

My cat's 16 too 🥹 she has ckd at stage 2/3 so im taking every precaution as well.

Aww same here! You sound like a very caring pet parent. I adopted my eldest in 2022, and he already had pretty advanced ckd, arthritis, and tooth decay, so I didn’t think we would get very long with him. He’s still going strong and his lab results have somehow improved this year, to everyone’s surprise. I hope you also get many more happy, healthy years with your girl! (:
