Must Love Powder

There was a time when the powdery quality in L’iris would have blasted my nose back. It took me years to attune my nose enough to appreciate classic powdery compositions like this. L’iris has a powdery/cosmetic iris common in many timeless compositions and this perfume, while gorgeous, comes with some flashing yellow lights: for anyone not familiar with or appreciating of these types of scent profiles this perfume could be perceived as “dated” or “out of style” compared to many in today’s market. But if you love iris and enjoy powdery perfumes give this one a sniff! Santa Maria Novella also offers a body wash and lotion to wear with the perfume and I highly recommend all three! Gorgeous classic-smelling iris perfume!
