Tom Ford Soleil Neige

Ahh, Mondays. Decided to go with something sweeter today.

Soleil Neige is somewhat in the same vein as Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy - a powdery, sweet, orange blossom scent. However, it is not as saccharine, decidedly not a gourmand, lighter, and more grown-up. The bergamot brings a subtle tartness. I also get a chalky, powdery, grape candy vibe from this one, although there is no grape note in it. What it really smells like is hyacinth. My husband really likes this one, and so do I. It is quite enjoyable. Sadly, I have not smelled the private blend version so I cannot compare, but I do like this version that is far more affordable!

Projection is decent for about 3 hours but it dies quickly in the heat. Not much lasting power on this one for an EDP - maybe 5-6 hours at best before it's completely faded from the skin.

An easily likeable sweet scent that is light enough for hot weather, but could do better on longevity. 8/10
