The loquats are ripening on our tree

..and this really does have very realistic notes of a freshly picked loquat, among the aquatic and "solar" notes. For some reason I haven't worn this for years, and when I pulled it from the back of my perfumes cupboard I couldn't remember it's smell beyond "summery". But there it was, the golden note that spells "summer is coming" like nothing else. It's unseasonably cold, so this feels like a promise that warms me up while still being fresh and easy.
