A golden Sunkissed moment, gone too soon.

Opens immediately with a strong, ambery, creamy coconut.

After about 5 mins it starts to settle and the lovely florals come through. The white flowers aren’t loud, they just give a radiantly sweet flare to the coconut. Tame but present, with a subtle spiciness, I don’t get any green or indolic. The Frangipani and the hibiscus bring along some lovely hints of exotic fruits; apricot skin, banana, maybe a bit of mango.

The coconut is much less prominent in the heart. And it really is beautiful here. It’s like a creamy, solar, exotic fruit cocktail smoothie, dressed with beautiful exotic flowers and a splash of coconut water added. To my nose, there’s a hint of ambery vanilla here too. Deliciously gorgeous!

Coconut forwards wouldn’t be my go to scent profile. But this is a lovely tropical, fruity floral symphony. My biggest issue, is the longevity, which isn’t usually a deal breaker for me, but 2hrs later and I need to bring my nose to my skin to detect barely a ghost of the scent.. all I’m left with is a dry nuttiness and the faintest whiff of creamy coconut and haunting sniffle of tuberose. Maybe it’s applying with the rollerball? - but I don’t get this issue with Korres rollerballs. It’s actually a really beautiful scent profile for the first hour but behaves like a body spray.

There was an absolute golden moment in this perfume between 5 and 60mins were the scent performed just like the beautiful imagery that the Sun-kissed Hibiscus bottle evokes. Really, really lovely. If only it could’ve stayed like that for a little while longer and lasted some.
