Very spicy. A little bit of floral plum in the opening, then a bit of tobacco and leather. All drowned in very heavy spice to where it’s a little bitter, especially up close. It smells better in the air than on skin.

Too bitter overall for me. I need to try the original again, but I remember that being much more balanced.

    Definitely would try this version .. there's a bottle by Chopard, Oud Malaki which release prior to Pengaligon that smells exactly the same as Mr Sam, except it last way longer so I didn't pick up Mr Sam... I have Halfeti and my favorite Halfeti Cedar which I adore. Wifey has a few as well excellent house.
