It’s Friday! 🙌🏼💃🕺 I’ve the new Duchess Intense on one arm and the OG on the other. First impressions, I like it a lot. Where the OG has a fizzy rose aspect to the opening, with the mandarin, and a woody, slighty soapy dry down, the intense opens immediately richer and sweeter as a beautiful ambery vanilla rose. Not listed, but to my nose, there’s patchouli in here, which mixed with the amber and vanilla gives a hint of chocolate, giving the Duchess Intense a gourmand rose edge. Let’s see how it wears on me.

      The discovery set in the background is just the normal portrait collection. The new intense versions I ordered online from the Penhaligon’s site, but they aren’t in a discovery set, just separate samples.
