Spritzed this on late one night; it felt cozy, and perfect for a sleepy time frag. There were a couple perplexing bits, but the comforting components shushed them. It calmly lingers, floating ever so slightly above and around you. It doesn't stick or cling to you; it hovers just so slightly. The edges are photoshop-blurred, soft and fuzzy. I hit play on a sleep story, and drifted off quickly, leaving the perplexing bits behind.
While settling down a few nights later, I grabbed that same sample, looking forward to another fuzzy cozy blurry moment. It was not. The perplexing bits were stronger; I confusedly huffed my wrists. My dog was concerned.
Then I figured it out. I identified the familiar, comforting, yet acrid and perplexing note evaporating from its core: a baby spit up towel. It smells like a baby's spit up towel. The soft, folded up piece of fabric just thick enough to protect your shirt from baby burp residue.
The Ghost In The Shell is a baby spit up towel.
