When the short description of this scent simply said "a cup of jasmine tea, brewed with ocean water.", I thought it was just another flowery scent description (as in flowery writing not literal flower notes). Shockingly, it's pretty damn close. This is aquatic, it's refreshing, I get the tea, a hint of mineral from the crushed porcelain, whispers of patchouli, and the ocean notes of ambergris, ocean water, and wet sand just play so nicely together. This one is a big hit for me, I'll be buying a full bottle someday.

      I got the discovery set and I was pleasantly surprised. Normally I expect to hate at least one out of every discovery set, but that wasn't the case here. I expected to outright say no to Dandelion Butter, but it was actually quite nice. If I had to give a short little review of each it'd be this. Dandelion Butter: very green, photorealistic fresh dandelion, the butter is a very brief top note. Morel Map: Also very green, dries down to a nice forest floor kind of smell. Warm Bulb: Genuinely it smells like dust being singed off a light bulb after being turned on after a long time of not being used. With the Candlestick: This one was a wild card, I wasn't sure what to make of it. The simplest way is to say it smells like the old school paper-packaged logs you could buy from any supermarket with some incense. It's very warm, very nostalgic feeling. These impressions are from paper sprays, not on skin. I've only worn The Point on my skin so far. All in all, worth the $40 for the samples.
