I lived in Brooklyn for 4 years while I was in art school and I know exactly what this fragrance is going for - the vibes of sitting on the stoop with your friends, waiting to go out or sitting on the stoop with your friends long after you’ve already gone out.

Birds are beginning to sing as the sun kisses the horizon, wine is still on your friend’s lips, the cafe at the corner is already brewing their first round of coffee, a bouquet of roses sits near a trash can as a trophy of failed romance, dew dampens concrete.

I haven’t seen some of those people in almost 20 years, hell, I can’t even remember some of their names, but I loved those nights-turned-mornings.

    What amazing memories.. I have also learnt this morning what a ‘stoop’ is.. its much easier way to say ‘ya know, like the big steps onto town houses that go straight from the footpath to the door that you always see in movies based in New York’ lol

      Haha! Yeah, just the big ol’ steps. Similar, but different - before I moved to LA, I had only seen outdoor lockers in movies. When I showed up for my first day teaching illustration at Cal Poly, I saw them and got so stoked, hahaha.

      Ok.. I have also learnt this morning that there are outdoor lockers in USA. They wouldn’t withstand the continuous rain in Ireland, they’d be piles of rust after a year lol

      That’s exactly what would happen in the northeast, as well - too much rain and snow for that, haha!
