I take this out if I want to time travel back to the year nineteen hundred and ninety eight (I was 9) when my older brother (7 years my senior) was rocking Apollo Axe Body deodorant like nobody's business❤️our relationship wasn't strained yet, and he was my best friend. I can't say I miss those days, but I miss who he was then.

Axe Apollo has top notes of quince, clary sage and mandarin orange; middle notes of lavender, violet leaf, geranium and iris; base notes of amber, sandalwood, moss, cashmere wood and vetiver.

Thunderbird has top notes of mandarin oil, red apple, clary sage, and cardamom; mid notes of watery ozone, a violet leaf accord, and lavandin; and base notes of musk, sandalwood, guaiac wood and vetiver.

The mandarin, sage, lavandin, violet leaf accord, sandalwood and vetiver make Thunderbird a distinct clone of Axe Apollo to my nose; it is a tad challenging for me in the beginning due to a sharpness that isn't bad, it's just not my cup of tea. But it dries down into a sweet, woody, vetiver-y musk that I love. Longevity is typical of an edt and warrants reapplication every 3-5 hours or so, but my favorite part of this scent journey is when it becomes a skin scent and I actually prefer it on clothing, so reapplication usually isn't necessary for me. I bought this at a Ross (I live in the US) but you can get it from the Palm Beach Beauté website for $30.
