Tom Ford Decants

Funny how I used to be the biggest Tom Ford hater but now I quite enjoy a lot from the brand. They smell great but do suffer from poor performance unfortunately, so this is a brand where I have to do extensive testing before buying.

Lost Cherry - I have the big bottle of this because I just love it so much (thanks to Costco because full price ain't it 💀). It gets regular wear all year. It smells like a delicious, spicy sweet cherry jam and marzipan pastry. I usually layer this with Phlur's Cherry Stem, which is a spicy, juicy, fresh dark cherry. It brings a bit of acidity to the TF which I enjoy. 10/10 love this and the performance is good on me.

Electric Cherry - Been curious about this one awhile and had smelled it on paper and liked it. It's also nice on skin. The first spray was a really tart cherry juice, which I enjoyed, but now it's softened and that tartness is completely gone. I'm getting pencil shavings, ginger, a lot of musk, a tiny amount of jasmine, soap bubbles, and cherry candy. It all combines and reminds me a bit of a cherry coconut shower gel. It's more youthful and a lot lighter than Lost Cherry. About the same performance, so pretty decent on me. Pleasant scent but I wish everything was *more.* 8/10

Soleil Blanc EDP - Been wanting to get my nose on this for awhile. Sunscreen, coconut, white flowers, and cardamom are mostly what I get. It's really lovely and likeable. I wish it projected a bit more. I'll have to do more testing on this including a full wear but I see why it's a summer classic. 10/10 scent and ok projection and performance.

Neroli Portofino EDP - Super bright, electric green Neroli and citrus on the top. So refreshing and crisp! The added aromatics are very nice as well, with lavender being the most prominent. It also smells like fruit loops and lemon verbena. It definitely makes me feel like I'm on holiday. Again, I wish this projected more and lasted longer. 9/10 scent but worst performance of the 4
