Un Ete Francais

This is a powdery, green scent with bright bergamot and honeyed yellow and white florals. I really enjoy this one as the notes are all right up my alley. I am noticing that a lot of the Celine perfumes use the same notes - Neroli, bergamot, and powder - and they are all done very well, which is probably why I really like all of the ones I've smelled so far. This one smells like a walk in a garden in midsummer, when the heat is making the scents of all the flowers bloom. I guess the name, which translates to "A French Summer," is accurate. The added citrus and green notes are lovely too, and prevents the scent from becoming too cloying or sweet. I also really enjoy Celine's powdery DNA here. It adds a comforting, almost starchy quality.

This scent is a moderate projector. It projects well for around 3 hours and lasts on skin for over 12 hours.

This is a lovely one for spring and summer if you want a bright, sunshine-y floral scent that isn't too sweet. Very pretty, very romantic, very much garden party in a sundress... and it is an instant mood booster to boot! Love this one a lot - though I don't think it is doing anything unique, it is likable, easy to wear, and has great performance. 9/10 rating for me.
