Masculine, clean yet rugged. Very nice.

This is a lovely fresh aromatic spicy perfume, driven by angelica, of ginger, bergamot and Vetiver on a bed of musk and cedar. It’s dry and peppery yet the amber keeps the bergamot and Vetiver super smooth throughout and the angelica gives the musk in the base a gorgeous rooty, earthy musk that’s has a very slight powdery smoke but remains green, clean and fresh.

I can see people saying this might lean a bit generic ‘male grooming scent’ for a Malle, but it’s good stuff. It’s well made, perfectly blended, easy to wear and I really really like it. It reads very masculine to my unintentionally socially conditioned nose, male perfume enthusiasts may not find this unique, but I can say that that my female nose finds it very pleasing indeed.
