This is the perfect rose and layering Givenchy III with it is the perfect framing for it— a green chypre. Together these smell like a neon-red/green Joy with a mean-streak, taking a baseball bat to mailboxes playing Freebird in their mustang while smookin’ doobies— that kinda Joy!

With or without Givenchy III to layer it Une Rose remains one of the most challenging yet enjoyable works of art I’ve ever esníffed. Top 50 of all time.
