Beautiful scent, not so great performance.

This is niiiice. The plum isn't necessarily loud or screaming "YO IM A FRUIT." It just adds what I can only describe as a dark juiciness. Vanilla, woods, patchouli at the base. Then the honey comes in. Its not pissy or cloying though. Its thick but not too sweet. Almost like its mixed with molasses, earthy and a hint of sweet. It makes me think of mahogany for some reason. Like its not that sweet creamy sandalwood or dry grounding cedar. It smells like polished mahogany. It does remind me of Vanilla 28 quite a bit, but this is way better. Maybe I'm crazy, but this kinda smells like 50% Vanilla 28, 40% Guerlain Tobacco Honey, and 10% Guerlain sdv. This scent is really delightful and that first whiff had me hooked. Def worth a snifferoo if you want a dark sexy Vanilla for the coming cooler weather.

Now, the shitty part. The longevity is buttcheeks. It doesn't project after the 2 hour mark. Admittedly my skin guzzles fumes. Its very hard to get a perfume that will last on my skin. The performance is about the same on clothes though also. I'm hoping if I let it sit and mature it'll woman up a bit, get some power in her. I really love this though, so letting it just sit is gonna be rough. Shit, can an m.e. fragrance house come through with a dupe? They always make their fumes so much stronger. While they're at it, what is taking so long for a damn father figure dupe? Jeez. 😂
